Water Training Day – Cancelled
Working

Unfortunately the planned water training day has been cancelled due to ongoing advice from the Kennel Club and government.  We will be in touch directly with anyone who has paid, or expressed an interest.

Despite the current restrictions and difficulties we are all facing, the HPRGA Committee is continuing to work on our behalf of our members to develop a range of events and activities for the future when it is safe and we are able to do so.

If we can be of any assistance in the meantime, then please do contact us.

Keep well and stay safe.

BASC Tower Bird Trophy

BASC awards Tower Bird Trophies each year to the most successful young field trial dog or bitch under four years old at the end of the trialling season, in each of the gundog groups. The competition is open to all – BASC members and non-members and the prizes are awarded according to a points system.

The closing dates for entries is the 29th of May and the winners will be presented with their trophies at The Game Fair, Ragley Hall in September.

Events including the AGM Cancelled until further notice
AGM, Education, Other, Show, Working

In light of the recent advice received from the Kennel Club, the HPRGA have cancelled all events including our AGM until further notice.  Some of the statement can be seen below.

We will be in touch with anyone who has already committed to any of our training events and as soon as we are able to start offering rearranged dates for the AGM and training.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you all at an event in the not too distant future.

The HPRGA Committee

“The safety and security of competitors, spectators, volunteers and staff at Kennel Club events is of paramount importance. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kennel Club has taken the decision with regret to recommend strongly that Clubs and Societies cancel forthcoming events over the next three months, i.e. until the end of June.

This is based on advice issued by the Government yesterday, March 16, to restrict non-essential travel and contact, and in consideration of the many vulnerable groups who both attend and participate in Kennel Club events.  In addition, the Kennel Club recommends that alternative arrangements are put in place regarding other activities such as meetings, seminars and training classes.”
